1/25/2008 (Phoenix, Arizona) – The Phoenix office of McShane Construction recently topped out the six-story, 186,000 square foot, post-tension concrete structure for Washington Airport Corporate Center located at 44th and Washington Streets in Phoenix, Arizona. This Class A office facility, located within minutes of the Sky Harbor International Airport, is under development by McShane Development Company and will be completed on behalf of SCF Arizona. Grading for the attached five-story parking structure is also underway together with the sitework and infrastructure that McShane Construction is completing for the entire mixed-use development. Washington Park is situated on an 18-acre parcel at the intersection of 44th and Washington Streets with direct access to the 143 and 202 Freeways. The development is also located at the 44th Street (Airport) stop of the new light rail system in Phoenix. This mixed-use development will also include a hotel, restaurant and retail shops. Davis (formerly DFD CornoyerHedrick) is providing architectural services for the project. McShane Construction will complete the infrastructure assignment in June 2008 with delivery of the office facility in October 2008.
