6/25/2008 (Chicago, Illinois) – On behalf of Chicago-based developer, The Resurrection Project, McShane Construction has been selected to provide comprehensive construction services for the new Casa Morelos apartment development located at 2015 S. Morgan Street in Chicago, Illinois. The new seven-story, 54,000 square foot residential property is comprised of 45 one-, two- and three-bedroom affordable housing units and will include a community and meeting room and on-site laundry facility. The cast-in-place structure will feature an attractive brick veneer exterior highlighted by two entrance canopies with an Alucabond finished cornice above the main entry. The new apartment residence will also provide compliance with Chicago’s Green Homes program and meet Chicago’s Building Green/Green Roof Initiative with the construction of a rooftop garden. Weese Langley Weese Architects Ltd. has been selected to provide the architectural services for the project. McShane Construction will break ground in May 2008 and provide project completion in July 2009.
