(Frisco, TX) - The Dallas office of Cadence McShane recently announced the completion of the new Frisco Career and Technology Center constructed on behalf of Frisco Independent School District. The new two-story facility is situated adjacent to the Collin County Community College on Wade Boulevard in Frisco, Texas. The 125,618 square foot center offers career-focused and technology education for the District’s 11th and 12th grade students and was completed on schedule to welcome over 900 students to the 2008/2009 school year. The two-story facility was constructed of structural steel with masonry exterior and features composite metal and zinc accent panels. The interior includes a variety of classrooms, technology laboratories and administrative areas including a testing center, employee training area, restaurant, warehouse, TV studio, computer and animation labs, architecture lab, marketing and media center, medical and veterinary science labs, credit union, food service, copy and mail room and court room. A 2,500 square foot greenhouse was also constructed for the horticulture curriculum. Cadence McShane also completed all exterior landscaping for the campus including surface parking for 780 vehicles and elegant plantings surrounding the new educational facility.
