11/5/2008 (Harris County, TX) - Cadence McShane recently completed the new two-building, 500,000 square foot Hardy Distribution Center on behalf of developer, Exel, a North American leader in supply chain management. Prior to the project’s groundbreaking, ING Clarion, one of the world’s largest real estate investment companies, purchased the development from Exel due to the site’s premier location within this growing distribution corridor. Exel served as development manager for the project that is situated on a 31.1-acre parcel at Greens Road and Central Green Boulevard in Harris County, Texas. The new business park is strategically positioned with frontage and visibility from the Hardy Toll Road and direct accessibility to the North Sam Houston Toll Road and Interstate 45. Cadence McShane completed the 248,480 square foot Building One in April 2008 that features exterior tiltwall panels with a 30’ clear height, architecturally enhanced glass curtain wall entrances and 64 truck docks with expansion capability. Building Two, a 252,977 square foot facility offering similar features and advantages, was completed in October 2008. Munson Kennedy Partnership provided the architectural services for the projects.
