11/12/2008 (Buffalo Grove, IL) - Mid-October 2008 marked the groundbreaking of the 63,200 square foot Affinity Healthcare medical office building in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Located on a 6.3-acre site at 1450 Busch Parkway, McShane Construction will provide comprehensive design/build services for this single-story facility under development by ASA Properties, LLC. Features include solar sun screens, an architecturally distinctive lobby, load-bearing architectural precast façade and parking for 315 vehicles. The new facility will be home to a number of medical practice groups of Affinity Healthcare including Internal Medicine/Family Practice; Diagnostic Imaging; Immediate Care; Ear, Nose & Throat Center; Illinois Bone & Joint Institute; Northwest Suburban Urologists; Sanders Arlington Pediatrics, Ltd.; and WomanCare, PC. The facility will sustain additional clinical support services such as diagnostic services and physical therapy. McShane will also complete all sitework and landscaping. Marasco & Associates, Inc. and Partners in Design are providing the architectural services and space planning for the facility. Delivery is scheduled for August 2009.
