2/17/2009 (Phoenix, Arizona) – The Phoenix office of McShane Construction Company is pleased to announce that Clay Wells has joined the firm as Director of Business Development. Contributing 14 years of industry experience, Wells is recognized for his professionalism, market expertise and ability to deliver major deals. He has also demonstrated proficiency for maintaining client expectations while simultaneously developing new opportunities. At McShane Construction, Wells will utilize his skills in developing long-term business relationships for the company, in addition to contributing to the overall strategic direction and growth of the company’s Phoenix operation. Prior to joining McShane Construction, Wells was the Vice President of Business Development for The Weitz Company, where he also served as an officer of the company. Wells is a graduate of Murray State University located in Murray, Kentucky. He is an active member of the community and belongs to organizations such as the Arizona Association of Economic Developers, Arizona Builders’ Alliance (AGC Phoenix Chapter), Associated General Contractors of America, CoreNet Global, International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), among others.
