3/24/2009 (Rosemont, Illinois) - McShane Construction Company is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete the new 15,116 square foot, single-story, mixed-use building on behalf of developer, Alliance Real Estate LLC. McShane Construction will provide design/build construction services for the project located on a 1.79-acre parcel at 19801 Governors Highway in Flossmoor, Illinois. The building will feature retail and medical office space, as well as traditional office suites. The project is scheduled for a Spring 2009 groundbreaking and a mid-December 2009 completion. Drs. Kung and Labana will occupy 6,000 square feet of building space upon completion. Several retailers and professional services firms have expressed interest in the remaining space. The structure will feature a stylish masonry and brick stone exterior, while the interior will incorporate sleek, modern finishes and Class A amenities. The new mixed-use facility is located near several area hospitals including St. James Hospital, Ingalls Memorial Hospital and Advocate South Suburban. The property also offers convenient access to I-57, I-80 and I-94. McShane Construction will also complete all sitework, landscaping and surface parking. KLLM Architects, Inc. has been selected to provide the architectural services for the project.
