6/4/2009 (Irving, Texas) – Cadence McShane Construction’s Dallas office recently completed a 33,378 square foot construction assignment at the Northlake College South Campus of the Dallas County Community College District. The new two-story building serves as a satellite facility and is located on a 11.72-acre site at 1801 W. Shady Grove Road in Irving, Texas. The property features 20 classrooms, three contemporary computer labs, kitchen facilities, a GED testing suite, science lab, library, book store and administrative areas. Additional amenities include study lounges, a law enforcement office, vending areas and a large multi-purpose room. The assignment also encompassed 225 parking spaces. Dallas Community College operates a network of seven individual colleges serving over 89,000 students and employs approximately 6,900 individuals. F&S Partners provided the architectural services for this higher educational assignment.
