(Rosemont) – McShane Construction Company Senior Project Manager and Director of Quality Assurance Gary Vandenberg successfully completed training to earn the Construction Quality Manager Designation from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The purpose of this training course is to familiarize employees of private construction firms with the Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management concepts and procedures, enabling a more productive collaboration between the two entities. The course is offered annually in order to achieve the mutual goal of the government and contractor to deliver a quality product, safety and on-time performance for a satisfied customer. The course provides the opportunity for contractors to avoid costly rework, increase profit margins and boost quality performance.
