7/14/2009 (Houston, Texas) – The new three-story, 170,823 square foot West Pointe Center has been completed on behalf of developer White Rock Commercial. The Houston office of Cadence McShane constructed this Class A building on a 24.8-acre site along Beltway 8 and West Road in Houston’s popular Northwest Corridor. The property offers convenient access and visibility from Beltway 8 with premier signage opportunities available to tenants. West Pointe Center was constructed to accommodate a wide range of users by incorporating large efficient floor plates of 55,455 square feet. Cadence McShane employed a number of green building construction techniques such as recycling construction waste, utilizing regional materials and implementing an efficient plumbing system that will result in a 22% reduction of water use. Additionally, Cadence McShane provided the infrastructure for a building-wide tenant recycling system. Cadence McShane also completed all sitework, landscaping and parking, providing a generous ratio of five parking spaces per 1,000 square feet with 100 covered parking spaces.
