(Dallas, Texas) – Cadence McShane Construction recently achieved topping out at the 92,000 square foot ‘10740 Medical Office Building’. The new Class A, four-story medical office facility is located at 10740 North Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas and will be completed in December 2009. Topping out is reached when construction teams raise the highest structural element atop the building and is marked by placing a U.S. flag atop the building as a patriotic symbol that signifies the united effort necessary to achieve a common goal. Another tradition includes the placement of an evergreen tree at the highest point of the facility as a sign of good luck and a symbol of growth. Several medical tenants have secured long-term leases within this new state-of-the-art medical facility. The Ophthalmology Surgery Center of Dallas has leased the entire fourth floor for a new 25,000 square foot ambulatory surgery center. The Glaucoma Associates of Texas has executed a lease for its new 10,000 square foot tenant suite and The Cornea Associates of Texas has leased and will occupy 10,000 square feet upon completion. Dallas Laser Center has also agreed to occupy 2,000 square feet. The new medical office building can accommodate medical practitioners and associated professional tenants from 1,200 square feet to a full floor tenant suite of 19,000 square feet. Marasco & Associates, Inc. and Alliance Architects are providing the architectural services.
